About Us
LaTonya Gibson is the founder and director of LaTonya Beauty. She was born and raised in the Windy City, she relocated to Gilbert, Az in 2006. LaTonya is a mother of 2 sons and a grandmother of 1. LaTonya is a Master stylist with over 30 years experience in the beauty industry with extensive training in Permanent Cosmetic Make-Up.

Faqs
Not always! If you have extremely oily skin, a microblading technique may not work well for you. The constant production of the oil will cause the hair like strokes to heal with a diffused look, so strokes are not as crisp looking. In this case an "Ombre' Powdered Brow" technique may be better suited for you. If you are a very active person who works out a lot, you may also be better suited to an Ombre' Brow. The reason being is that the salt naturally produced during sweating can cause premature fading, which is more common in Microblading. Medical conditions and medications can also determine your suitability. If you are taking blood thinners or fish oil, you will be required to stop taking these and seek Doctor's approval if prescribed.
No, absolutely not! We try to retain as much of your natural hair as possible and work to enhance your natural features. Brow hairs that are outside the perimeters of the brow design will only be removed.
Does this procedure hurt We use a topical anesthetic to numb your skin during the procedure, so discomfort is very minimal. Anesthetic is reapplied as needed throughout the procedure so your experience is as comfortable as possible.
None! You can leave the spa after the procedure and carry on as normal. Some redness may be present for an hour or so after procedure. Lips and eyeliner may cause some swelling, but this subsides after 24 hours. If you have an important event or trip away, we ask that you plan accordingly for this as no make up can be used in the treated area while healing and aftercare involves lightly cleansing the area and applying the provided ointment that is included in your after care kit. Further to this, swimming and heavy sweating is NOT permitted during the healing period.

In order to achieve the best results, it is important that your skin is in optimal condition. Much like a professional painter would prepare the area to paint by sanding, filling and using an undercoat, we too need to make sure your skin is prepared.
